Introductions
Welcome to GigRun. We’d like to introduce you to GigRun.
GigRun is a new tool designed to help you organise and keep people up to date with what’s happening on your gig.
What is it for?
You can add multiple venues to a gig by postcode and separate information between them.
You may want to invite people to become a team member for your gig. Once they have registered a free account with GigRun, they can view any gigs they are a team member for and receive update notifications for your gig. If you give them permission, they can also modify details/info for you - teamwork makes the dream work!
Also included are things like activity, notifications, to-do lists, file uploads, day schedules and much more on the horizon!
Who pays for this?
Only the person/company organising the gig will pay for a subscription to the service. Any team members you invite will have free access to the app and your gig; this is the same if you give team members edit access, you will not pay any more than agreed in your subscription, the team member won’t pay anything.
Pricing will be pushed out in due course, but I look for this to be affordable with a couple of plans available so customers only pay for what they need.
Why make this?
I know a few good products like this already exist, and that’s great, but this has been a side project of mine for a long time. I used to use a very distant version of this a few years ago for a specific use case and it worked really well.
Throughout the COVID-19 outbreak, in my spare time, I’ve been sifting through some old web projects and thought I might bring this back to life with some drastic improvements and see if it can be of any use to others.
Do you have things you want to add?
If you have any thoughts or ideas on what features GigRun requires to assist on your gig/event, get in touch using the email address or contact form provided on this site.
I want GigRun to be customer based, if you want it, I’ll do my best to get it in the app.
When can I use it?
At the moment, although the core concepts are built and working as planned, there is a lot of optimisation work to do. Although this is currently a side project for me, i’m pretty excited about it and I can’t wait to bring it to you!
I’m planning for public beta testing starting in Early 2021, this of course depends on the interest GigRun gets, the more people that subscribe and follow, the quicker I will get this to testing!
Subscribe for updates, help build something great!
If you want to support GigRun, and the possibility of early access and discount offers sounds good to you; get it touch and keep an eye out on social media to stay in the loop!
I’m not a fan of pushing adverts in peoples faces. This doesn’t keep them off the site forever, but if the need arises, they will be small, unobtrusive and private to the site.
The email address you share will be kept securely on our servers and only used for the purpose you’ve agreed too, for me to provide you with updates on how GigRun is progressing. It will NOT be distributed to anyone, but if you feel uncomfortable, you can unsubscribe with a one click link on any of the emails you receive from GigRun.
If you got to the end of my first post, thanks for reading, it means a lot!
Stay safe
